1. INTRODUCTION

The sense of this work is to provide information about advertising as one of the marketing communication elements. Firstly, we concetrated on decsribing all imoprtant definitions and facts concerning advertising: what advertising means, , the types of advertising, the process of advertising, the aims of advertising, criticism of advertising, etc. Secondly, we tried to identificate advantages and disadvantages that advertising brings to companies and customers. And finally we sum up all arguments and expressed our opinion on the topic.
