Referát: MMICs for passive imaging

A low noise amplifier stage at the input of a passive imaging system is crucial for system performance. InP-HEMTs are well suited for such applications due to their superior noise performance. Using this technology, a two stage amplifier with a gain of 14 dB and a broadband matching was designed and fabricated. Passive imaging systems require amplifiers with large bandwidth and high gain, because system sensitivity increases with increasing bandwidth.
