Semestrálna práca: Identification and Analysis of Drawings Techniques

Drawings of the old masters were not only admired for their beauty, but also serving as teaching tools in the atelier, providing a means for studying the methods and style of the draftsmen who had changed the course of art. Simultaneously there is one question about approach to this precious evidences of artist’s work from last centuries, as a cultural inheritance. Recent situation in art collections in Museums and Galeries require to reappraise and determine state and extent of damage and correct identification of it. And this one is required in order to conserve their expressional and artistic value, for next generation. The first line of our topic should be focused at identification of diferent drawings techniques, and put these analysis into practice of conservation and in the art-historical practice.
