History of Wales is dated to agelong times. Welsh is the eldest known language in the world and it is used in the country largely. The earliest inhabitants was Britons, Celts followed. Roman invasion of the 1st century B.C. brought Britain into contact with continental Europe. The laws in Wales Acts 1535 - 1542 were a series of parliamentary measures by witch the legal system of Wales was annexed to England.
