Seminárna práca: T. S. Eliot - The Love song of J. Alfred Prufrock

Introduction

In my seminar work I want to analyse The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock written by Thomas Stearns Eliot. I have chosen this poem because of its compliances of images. The reading of this poem was easier than The Wasteland. It was shorter and easier to understand. It is not traditional love poem - man felt in love to woman so he will write a poem her. Interestingly, the title of the poem was not originally “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock”. In its earliest version, the poem was called “Prufrock Among the Women. While this title perhaps also touches upon some of the irony it shares the subject of love, to some degree.
