Introduction
After Second World War, the superpowers give importance on spreading their influence and control over the world what led to a situation when world became bipolar. In these countries, there were different and totally incompatible ideologies created. This fact supported natural rivalry between two blocs. During the Cold War, the intensity of this rivalry has been varying at different levels. The Cuban Missile Crisis could be considered as one of the peaks of this hostility. World was on the brink of nuclear war. This confrontation caused serious reflection on the situation from different point of views.

For Soviet Union and United States it meant improvement in communication and cooperation. Also, change in foreign policies. Couple of highly powerful treaties were signed. Their content was mainly concerned about nuclear weapons, their use and limitations. Communication became much more faster and helped to strengthen relations. For European countries, it meant a period of relaxation between two blocs.

Cuban missile crisis was unquestionably the most dangerous event of the Cold War, which occurred at the climax of tension between the Soviet Union and the United States. The fact, that two leaders of these countries could bring nuclear war to happened change their positions and strategies toward each other...
