During year we celebrate many feats. These feats are different in varius countires. So, first I will speak about feasts in Britain. On January 1st people in Great Britain celebrate New Year's day. On February 14th is Valentine's day. It's lovers day. On this day young people send Valentine cards to a person of opposite sex. They cards are funny and have contents such as "I'll be your sweetheart and Be your Valentine".On April 1st is All fool's day. This day people make respectively some jokes. On Aprilis Easter. It is spring feast of Christian Church.

2. Ways of life, ways of living
There are many ways how and where to live, everybody can choose the best for him, that what he likes, needs or can afford. I live in small town of Snina. It's situated in the east of Slovakia in the territory of Snina`s region near the Vihorlat mountain range. It's really wonderful nature here. People can look for mushrooms here, go jogging, go for some trips or they can relax here. I live in a 3-room flat on the 2th floor of an 8-storey block of flats with my family.

Banská Štiavnica
was formerly one of the most significant centres of precious metal mining, mining science, technology and education in Europe. It was awarded the official status of a town and mining rights as early as 1238, but the extraction and processing of metals, principally gold and silver, dates back to the Bronze Age. In mediaeval times, many German mining specialists came to Banska Stiavnica, bringing with them their new and progressive expertise in ore extraction. The world’s first technical university, devoted to mining, mineralogy, physics and chemistry, was established here in 1735 by a decree of the empress Maria Thereza, inspiring the establishment of the later polytechnic institute in Paris

Under the surface of the spectacular Slovak landscape there is a mysterious world of caves, the most famous ones can be found on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa in Slovenský raj is a real karst rarity among ice caves. It is our largest ice cave and the first cave in Europe to have electric lighting (since 1887). The extraordinary sight awaiting you in this cavern is a magnificent conglomeration of ice forming a huge mass underneath arches of rock. During the period before the start of summer, there is about a centimeter depth of snowy frost here. 5. Keep fit; healthy way of life
Nowadays, it’s the time when most of people live in stress and hectic lifestyle. Majority of them knows it’s not good for their health but it’s difficult and maybe even impossible to change this way of life. Civilizational diseases are being discussed all over the world and more and more people are treated for allergies, drug addictions and so on.

Students often talk about school and exams, how they get on, if they failed, if they are going to take the exam again. A lot of hard work is needed to have good exam results.
